Oslo, August 5, 2021: In continuation of our release on January 28, 2021
concerning the win of Dr. Dropin, the collaboration between PatientSky and
Dr.Dropin has been ongoing and now, Norwegian IT media ComputerWorld has written
about the collaboration. By using a cloud-based electronic patient record
solution (EPR) from PatientSky the private healthcare partner Dr. Dropin has
been able to increase the capacity and efficiency of corona-tests:
»It has been of utmost importance to us to contribute with solutions to this
pandemic. Thus, we have been offering corona tests since May 2020 and have
tested tens of thousands of Norwegians in our clinics. Since partnering up with
PatientSky in late January securing admittance to their cloud-based EPR
solution, we have been able to increase the number of test offerings through
efficiency gains on easy test-booking and faster test results delivered to
Norwegians, « says CEO and founder of Dr. Dropin, Daniel Sørli, in the article
published on Friday, July 30.
Cloud-based solutions is the future of healthcare
According to Johan Zetterström, CEO of PatientSky, healthcare has for too long
been dominated by fragmented local-based It-systems, that are not able to share
information between them which waste healthcare professionals' resources on
administration instead of caring for patients, he says to ComputerWorld:
»We are creating a digital ecosystem for healthcare with the purpose of saving
time for healthcare professionals and partners to provide better, smarter and
cheaper patient care through our PatientSky 360 cloud platform which Dr. Dropin
is part of.«
Putting patients first
Dr. Dropin and PatientSky have a common ambition of putting patients first, the
article elaborates:
»Both Dr. Dropin and PatientSky have a common ambition of making healthcare work
better through streamlined digital solutions that puts the patient and the
doctor at the centre of attention. That is also the case with our corona testing
capabilities where the solution from PatientSky have increased our capability to
test more Norwegians,« Daniel Sørli states to ComputerWorld.
