On 11 October 2024, Shelf Drilling, Ltd. (ticker SHFL NO) (the "Company") merged
(as the acquiring entity) with its listed subsidiary Shelf Drilling (North Sea),
Ltd. (ticker SDNS NO) (the "Merger"). As a result of the Merger, the Company's
number of outstanding shares has with effect from 15 October 2024 (the "Record
Date") increased from approx. 213.7m to approx. 255.7m. Aurelius Capital
Management, LP (the "Manager") holds the same number of shares in the Company
after the Record Date, and as a consequence of the increased number of
outstanding shares, the Manager's proportionate holding of shares in the Company
has decreased from 5.4% to 4.5% due to incremental Company shares being issued
to current SDNS NO shareholders, resulting in the Manager's share count falling
below the disclosure threshold of 5% of the shares and votes in the Company.
