Bjørknes Høyskole is changing its name to Oslo Nye Høyskole (Oslo New University
College)


Bjørknes Høyskole, one of the leading private digital colleges in Norway with
both campus and online studies, is re-branding to better reflect the
institution's strong market position and future ambition. When Sonans Holding
acquired the college, a change of name was already planned to avoid confusion
between similar brands. The change of name has been long in coming with momentum
for this change coming additionally from students and staff. The college has
outgrown the previous name and is ready to embark on the next growth journey
under a new name.

Oslo Nye Høyskole has been an innovative institution since the beginning in 2008
in the field of higher education and the school is a pioneer in the development
of online courses in Norway, a position we will strive to enhance going forward.

For us, "new" is not just a passing phase, it represents a commitment to be at
