Sparebanken Norge has resolved to carry out a buy-back program for own equity
certificates.

Purpose of the program: to fulfill the bank's commitments in connection with a
bonus program for its employees and to facilitate an equity capital certificate
purchase program for employees
Maximum amount: NOK 25 million 
Maximum number of equity certificates: 120,000
Buy-back period: Up to six weeks from today's date
