Reference is made to the joint stock exchange announcements published on 4
September 2024, 10 June 2024, 22 February 2024, and 15 January 2024 by SpareBank
1 Østlandet and Totens Sparebank regarding the merger between the two banks (the
"Merger"), as well as the stock exchange announcement on 20 September 2024 by
SpareBank 1 Østlandet regarding the decision to implement the Merger.

The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (Finanstilsynet) has granted the
necessary approvals for the merger between SpareBank 1 Østlandet and Totens
Sparebank. All conditions for the completion of the merger have been met.

The Boards of Directors of SpareBank 1 Østlandet and Totens Sparebank have, in
their respective board meetings on 20 September 2024 and 14 October 2024,
decided to implement the previously announced Merger of the banks. The Board of
Directors of Totens Sparebank has simultaneously decided to establish Totens
Sparebankstiftelse (a foundation).

On 20 September 2024, the Board of Directors of SpareBank 1 Østlandet resolved
to increase the share capital by NOK 1,001,546,750 through the issuance of
20,030,935 new equity certificates, each with a nominal value of NOK 50 and at a
subscription price of NOK 117.88. 11,713,364 equity certificates will be issued
to Totens Sparebankstiftelse, and the existing equity certificate holders in
Totens Sparebank, apart from SpareBank 1 Østlandet, will subscribe to 8,317,571
equity certificates.

The Merger is scheduled to be completed on 1 November 2024. In connection with
the Merger, compensation certificates will be issued, and a cash consideration
will be paid to the equity certificate holders of Totens Sparebank
("TOTG-holders"). The following key information is provided for the delivery of
the compensation shares and the cash consideration:

day inclusive of the right to compensation shares and cash consideration): 31
October 2024
Merger completion date: 1 November 2024 (before market opening)
First trading day of SpareBank 1 Østlandet (SPOL) after the Merger: 1 November

Registration date for the delivery of compensation shares to former
TOTG-holders: 4 November 2024

Merger Compensation: Existing equity certificate holders in Totens Sparebank as

o	A cash consideration of NOK 7.7880

Total number of issued equity certificates after the Merger: 135,860,724 equity
certificates with a nominal value of NOK 50 each. Each equity certificate
represents one vote in the election meeting for equity certificate holders to
the Supervisory Board.
