Board Change: Retirement of Steven Boyes

Barratt Redrow plc today announces that, after 47 years of dedicated service, Steven Boyes has informed the Board that he intends to retire as Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO), and to step down as a director of Barratt Redrow plc. These changes will take effect on 6 September 2025, but Steven will remain available to Barratt Redrow plc until 6 March 2026.

Steven has developed a highly disciplined and industry-leading operations team, who will ensure that we maintain the unrivalled credentials which Steven has helped us to earn.  The Board wishes Steven and his family every happiness in his retirement."

Steven Boyes, COO and Deputy CEO said:

"I joined Barratt in 1978 as a junior quantity surveyor little knowing that, 47 years later, I would be retiring as COO and Deputy CEO. I am hugely grateful for the many opportunities and experiences that the business has given me.  I've had the pleasure of working alongside many excellent colleagues across the Group and I believe the Group is incredibly well positioned for the future."

Steven Boyes has over 47 years' experience in the housebuilding industry, having joined as a junior quantity surveyor in 1978. He progressed through the business to assume the roles of Technical Director and Managing Director of Barratt York, before being appointed Regional Director for Barratt Northern in 1999.

Steven joined the Board as a Regional Chairman and Executive Director in July 2001, became COO in July 2012 and Deputy CEO in February 2016. He is responsible for the Group's housebuilding operations, our timber frame manufacturing business, Oregon, and Group land activity in addition to our land promotion business, Gladman.

Steven was also previously a Trustee of the UK Green Building Council.

A statement concerning particulars of remuneration payments in accordance with section 430(2B) of the Companies Act 2006 will be published on the Company's website in line with statutory obligations.
