£368,000 Purchase Order from Gilmour Space Technologies

Follow-up order underlines growing relationship and confidence in Equipmake's technology as Gilmour prepares for maiden launch of Australian orbital rocket

Equipmake, a market leader in engineering-driven differentiated electrification technologies, products, and solutions for the automotive, truck, bus, aerospace, and speciality vehicle industries, is pleased to announce it has received a further purchase order (the "Purchase Order") from Gilmour Space Technologies ("Gilmour Space"), an Australian launch services company developing hybrid-propellant rocket engines and associated technologies for satellites launches.

Highlights:

·      Under the terms of the Purchase Order, Equipmake will supply additional electric motors and inverters to Gilmour Space.

·   The £368,000 Purchase Order represents a significant endorsement of Equipmake's advanced electrification technology and its capability to perform in one of the most demanding technical environments.

·     This follow on order comes as Gilmour Space prepares for the maiden flight of Eris, the first Australian-designed and built rocket aiming for orbit, which is scheduled for launch later in 2025. Eris utilises Equipmake's cutting-edge electric motor technology.

The Purchase Order builds on Equipmake's existing relationship with Gilmour Space, which dates back to 2020. Since then, during which Gilmour Space has tested and validated Equipmake's electric motor technology across multiple development stages. This further order reflects strong confidence in the performance, reliability and power density of Equipmake's solutions, and reinforces the Company's growing presence in the aerospace sector.

With Eris preparing for its maiden flight, this milestone also demonstrates how Equipmake's cutting-edge electrification technology is helping power the next generation of space innovation. In an industry where every component must be tested to the limit and precision and reliability are critical, Equipmake's technology has proven to be equal to the challenge.

Ian Foley, CEO, Equipmake said : "We proud to continue supporting Gilmour Space in its mission to advance space launch capabilities. This follow-on order is a strong endorsement of the performance and reliability of our electric propulsion technology, particularly in the demanding of operating environments. As Gilmour Space prepares for the maiden flight of Eris, a landmark moment for Australia's space industry, we are honoured that we will be playing a part in such an historical achievement. This collaboration demonstrates the global relevance of our technology, and we look forward to deepening our relationship with Gilmour Space and exploring new opportunities within the aerospace sector."
