Smithson Investment Trust plc announces that on 20 September 2024, it purchased for holding in treasury 155,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 1,417.0100 pence per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 39,203,352 ordinary shares held in treasury and 137,904,606 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 177,107,958.
