Infrastructure services provider Eleda has acquired Turtrans AB. Turtrans, which builds power transmission lines and maintains power industry infrastructure throughout Sweden, will become part of Eleda’s platform company Craftor.
“With the specialist expertise Turtrans possesses, Craftor is strengthening its market position in the construction of power transmission equipment up to 400 kV,” says Henrik Bolinder, CEO of Craftor.
“We now have entirely different opportunities and resources to take on more comprehensive projects. Being able to operate in an environment that is characterised by development, entrepreneurship and an enterprising spirit was the key to our decision,” says Tommie Wallin, partner in and co-founder of Turtrans.
The previous owners and key individuals at Turtrans will continue in their operational roles, becoming partners in Eleda.
The transaction is expected be completed in Q3 2024, following customary regulatory approval.
