Arctic Blue Beverages and its products continue to collect awards in international competitions, this time at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC 2024) held in the UK.
The company's newly launched Arctic Blue Gin Cask Vintage 2023 was awarded a prestigious gold medal. The product was described by the jury as having a heavy, sherry-like colour with a bold, zingy aroma. It was noted for being well-integrated with a lovely juniper presence and intense oak depth. The jury called it "a journey of the senses" and "sensational."
In addition, Arctic Blue Beverages’ products Arctic Blue Gin and Arctic Blue Laku received silver medals at the competition.
The IWSC is the most respected global drinks community, renowned for its expertise and influence on trade and consumers. Each year, the best spirits are chosen through a rigorous judging process where each sample is tested by a panel of expert judges. This year the competition had over 4000 spirit entries.
Valtteri Eroma, CEO of Arctic Blue Beverages, is very happy with the results: “Our mission is to make the world’s best craft beverages from Nordic ingredients, and as we might be slightly biased ourselves, it is always great to get confirmation from experts like the jury at IWSC."
Eroma continues: “Our new product, Arctic Blue Gin Cask Vintage 2023, is the new flagship of our gin product portfolio. It is a unique and characterful product that has matured for two years in American white oak barrels.”
